The Gallery: Private Event Venue, Private Dining Room and Private Event Space in Austin

Walls of French windows and Chez Zee’s signature twinkle lights will create a magical venue for your next private event. The Gallery is a separate building, located just across the courtyard from the restaurant and has its own P.A. music system, piano and service facilities. Guests control every aspect of their event experience in The Gallery Private Event Space in Austin.

The Gallery features year round art exhibits and a beautiful space to host a birthday partyholiday partyintimate wedding, rehearsal dinneranniversary celebration, bar mitzvah, bat mitzvahclient appreciation dinner or celebration of life event/after funeral memorial (and so much more!).

The Gallery is also a perfect venue to host a business luncheon or a daylong seminar. Our venue provides theatre style seating and is complete with AV equipment and wireless microphone. We can serve breakfast, lunch or dinner Monday – Friday and serve brunch on Saturdays and Sundays.

The Gallery Private Event Venue can seat up to 100 people for seated dinners or host cocktail/reception style parties for up to 150 people. There is additional seating for 30 people on the Gallery patio.

The Gallery’s amenities include a private bar which can be stocked to your preference. Full bar service from simple beer and wine to exquisite wine selections and premium liquors. We provide house centerpieces, linens and background music. We also offer valet parking options.

How do I reserve a date?

For private events in the Gallery, you may email our events manager at . Please include the date of your party, the time, the number of people and the type of event. You may also complete our online form here.

Alternatively, you may call 512-748-0345 OR 512-454-2666 to speak directly to the events manager.

In order to reserve a date in the Gallery a $500 deposit is required along with a signed contract.

Can we bring in our own cake, cupcakes, or other food or desserts?

Unfortunately, we do not allow any outside food or beverages in the Gallery. However, we would love to bake a cake, or even cupcakes, for your event. Let us know if you have any special requests. We can usually handle any request with enough notice.

When do I need to give a final head count?

A guaranteed head count will be needed 8 days prior to your event.

For Banquets Can you accommodate presentations?

We can accommodate presentations (A/V equipment including screen and projector) in The Gallery.

Is The Gallery handicapped accessible?

Yes, our private dining space is handicapped accessible.

    Looking forward to speaking with you at your earliest convenience. I am working to put together an A list brunch on a C list budget on behalf of Austin Area Urban League Young Professionals. We are hosting a weekend of events for Houston and Dallas chapters and would like the weekend to end with a memorable brunch at Chez Zee. My budget goal is $15 per head (NOT INCLUDING DRINKS…individuals will self-fund beverages). Attendees are currently looking at anywhere between 30 and 50 folks. A pre fixe menu with a few choices could be one way to control costs…lets have a chat so you can give me a sense of your capabilities and we can decide whether or not we can make this happen!

    What: Passion Missions Fall Fundraiser and Supporter Appreciation
    When: Thursday, September 27
    Time: 7:00-8:30pm approximately

    We would like to invite 50-75 current and prospective supporters to hear a recap of Passion Missions trips and outreaches that have occurred this year. Less formal than February event with snacks and drinks and video presentation as well as testimonials. We would like for the total expenditures not to exceed $2500.00, if possible. Perhaps held at a community center or neighborhood venue to keep the cost down.
