GENERAL INFORMATION


Menu Selection In arranging for private events, your menu selections as
well as beverage requirements are to be finalized 2 weeks prior to the
function to insure the availability of the menu items. All food and beverage
must be supplied and prepared by Chez Zee for in house functions.

Beverage & Bar Arrangements


We have a full bar as well as wine, beer and
soft drinks. No beverage of any kind may be brought into Chez Zee from
outside as per TABC regulations.

Audio Visual A.V. Equipment


available on a rental basis for your event.
Chez Zee will make your arrangements upon request. You are welcome to
provide your own.

Guaranteed Head Count


Chez Zee requires a guaranteed number of attendees by 11 am 72 working hours
prior to your scheduled event. If no final guarantee is received, the number
on the Event Contract will be considered the final guarantee. Because we
know things change Chez Zee will be prepared to serve 5% over the guaranteed
number. You will be billed for additional guests over your guaranteed
number. We are preparing this food exclusively for you therefore your
guaranteed number is not subject to reduction after the stated deadline.

Billing:


Payment is due in full at the completion of each event.
State Sales Tax: Sales tax of 8.25% will be applied to all non-exempt groups
for food items. A tax-exempt form will be required if claiming a tax
exemption.


Labor and Room Fees:

Labor Fee: Our friendly wait staff is billed at
$18 per hour, per server. We schedule one (1) server per 15/20
guests for buffets and one server per 10/15 guests for seated/served
dinners. While the only people you see at your event are the servers there
are many people behind the scenes making your event a success, from the
dishwasher to the Chef. The hourly charge per server contributes to these
costs. Your coordinator will work with you on the details of your particular
event to schedule the proper number of staff.
Scheduling for each server includes an hour for set up
and an hour for break down, per server,
plus the time scheduled for the actual event.

Room Fee:

Our professional event coordinator will provide a comprehensive proposal
that covers all the details of your event including staffing, food, and
wine, table arrangements and all the details that go into creating a lovely
event. We take pride in our attention to detail and to making your event
easy. The support fee includes "The Gallery" room, designer table skirts,
linens, banquet tables of all sizes and kinds, chairs, our
standard table center pieces, appropriate glassware, dishes and flatware.The support fee is calculated at 15% of the food and beverage before sales
tax.

Time Increments:

Chez Zee offers "The Gallery" for increments of four hours
for evening events and 3 hours for daytime events. Should you wish to extend
your event beyond this time frame, the cost is
$150 per hour. This of course is subject to availability of the space at the
time requested.

Cake Table Fee:

The $50 fee includes the set up of the cake table, dressed
with linens, lighting, plates, forks, napkins, and cutting utensils. A
complimentary bottle of champagne is also provided. Servers will be provided
to cut and serve the cake, and to package any remaining cake.

Specialty Cakes:

We have a full service on- premise bakery. We make wedding
cakes, grooms cakes, birthday cakes and celebration cakes for all occasions.
Ask the coordinator for a list of our flavors, sizes and prices.

Minimum Expenditures:

The minimum expenditure in food and beverage
requirements for "The Gallery" vary depending on the time of the event, day of
the week and season. The minimum requirements are before tax, labor and
service fee. Ask the coordinator for the minimums applicable to your event.

Capacity:

The Gallery can accommodate up to 100 people for seated functions.
125 for stand up
receptions.

Parking:

Chez Zee offers complimentary self -parking in our immediate
parking lot and in adjacent parking lots. We will give you specific
instructions as to the parking area available for your event. Maps will be
provided for you and your guests to the parking area reserved for your
event. Valet parking is also available for $3.00 per car. This can be hosted
or self- pay. Because we are in an urban setting parking space is at a
premium. Space is not guaranteed for each guest if all spaces are full.
Every effort will be made to make the parking for your guests as easy as
possible.

Cancellations:

If a function is cancelled within 72 hours prior to the
scheduled date, payment in full will be due. If an event is cancelled within
10 days of the event, 50% of the estimated charges will be due. All deposits
are applied to the total bill owed, but are non-refundable if the event
cancels.

Deposits:

A deposit is required to hold the date you have selected. The
amount of the deposit is 25% of the estimated total of your event. Deposits
can be made by check, cash, or credit card. Deposits are banked immediately
upon receipt. If a refund is required it will be made in the same form it
was received. Dates are not considered secure until a deposit is received.

Kosher Style Menus:

Our kitchen is able to offer certain kosher style food
preparations. Please let us know your requirements and we will do our best
to meet your needs.


Hors d'oeuvre Reception:

The average price for heavy hors o‚doeuvres is $25 - $30 per person before
tax, labor and support fees. The dollar amount is equivalent to a meal but
made up of 10-12pieces or servings of food per person. The price ultimately
depends on the items selected.

Seated Dinners:

Just as you would have guests in your home we recommend that you offer the
same entrée to everyone. If you would like to offer a choice of two entrees
we invite your guests to pre-order. A list of guest's names and entrée
selections is required 72 hours prior to the event. Place cards will be
provided by Chez Zee. Add $1.00 per person for this option. We are happy to
accommodate any dietary requests. To offer an assortment of desserts
platters are offered, which include three varieties at an additional $2.50
per person. Consult our coordinator for more details.
